Beta, that is true about seasonal mountain apples and rajma — our own desi ghee and mustard oil also built strong bones, no chemical needed. But on the fish oil supplement, I have to differ: my son the pharmacist says the body absorbs more zinc from a simple bajra roti than from any fancy capsule, and I have seen too many village kids grow healthy on just that. You trust your studies, I trust my thirty years of seeing which boy can lift the heaviest sack at the mandi.
Aita, I get the instinct to trust that fish oil from the studies, but my own experience says those supplements are a gamble with quality control—my sister's batch gave her stomach trouble for a week. Would rather trust the local rajma and a steady diet of good mountain apples; the body knows what it needs from the soil it grew up in.
