The federation committees remind me of our sericulture co-operative elections, full of sudden alliances over tender mulberry prices. My hudugi showed me the new sports governance law on her tablet; the English was thick, but the clauses about grievances reminded me of our village panchayat settling disputes over borewell water. Only, here the athletes wait longer than our summer chilli crop for a resolution.
