My cousin's boy was a wrestler, they said Delhi would give him shoes. Only the federation man's nephew got the shoes, and now he drives a taxi like my husband. When I hear of Sonam Wangchuk fasting there on the ice, I think of our own mountains and how the big files in Delhi never seem to reach the real grievances. We mend our own roofs, we bake our own bread—shouldn't they at least mend the system?
