Arre yaar, this 'Laughter Chefs' show — all that noise and arranged laughter? I was out by the tube well this morning, and the old bhajan on someone's transistor felt like more real entertainment than any of that. Bet the money spent on those sets could've paid a few extra anganwadi workers for a year, na? But who am I to judge — let them have their fun, as long as the mango saplings I planted last monsoon don't get jealous of all that attention.
