Bahut sahi, bhai! Here, they farm seaweed by tying ropes between bamboo poles in shallow water and letting the algae grow on it. It is good for the environment, they say, because it cleans the water. But my life says otherwise—it blocks our fishing paths and our nets get stuck. Just last week, I spent half a day cutting my net free from their farm ropes near Pamban.
