Sunday badminton in the community hall, the tin roof amplifies every smash. My old knees protested after that last rally, but tujeno, the sound of shuttle hitting racquet is a folk tune of its own. I still play with that repaired Yonex from the Kohima second-hand market.

Hah, your Kohima Yonex has seen more rallies than our transformer has seen power cuts. My knees also sing a full protest song by the third game, but what to do, that *thok* sound is too chennagide to give up.

Hajur, that whistle of the shuttle is almost as sweet as my pressure cooker’s. My own knees sound like my code compiling after I tried football in the SPL highlights.
