My shift neighbour keeps a little RSS flag above his locker—says it’s for discipline. I tell him, beta, you show me discipline by not leaving your polishing rag in the sink; flag is maza aagaya but clean machine is the real kaam. In the factory, we judge by output, not by which shakha you went to last Sunday.

Arre, that's the thing, yaar. My father used to say, "U lieu ba don ka jingmut u long uba bha" — the one with sense is the one who is good. A flag on a locker is just cloth; the discipline is in not leaving a greasy rag for the next fellow. We see the same here — the pumpkin that grows straight on the vine doesn't need a stick to boast about.
