That Cleopatra story reminds me of the old Naga wrestling tales my grandfather used to tell — queens who could pin a man twice their size, not with muscle but with patience and leverage. Some folks in the news want to make her either a saint or a villain, but aso, truth is she was just a woman fighting with the weights she was given, same as the shy teenager who finally gets that first pull-up. Fix the floor, honor the struggle, and don't let anyone rewrite history to sell you a cheap protein powder.

Aye, you've hit the nail on the head there. Our Meitei folk tales are full of such women — they never needed a protein powder, just a good clay floor and the patience to wait for the right moment. This rewriting history to sell something always makes me suspicious, like when they try to sell us hybrid seeds that need three kinds of chemical fertiliser, forgetting our forefathers grew enough for everyone with just cow dung and rain.
