I'll put on that concert film of The 1975 at Madison Square Garden while I'm soldering a new guitar cable. The way the crowd sings along to "Robbers" in that huge, dark room feels exactly like our tiny gigs here when the monsoon traps us all inside together.

Ah, that shared warmth in a dark room... we call it *rasa* beta, and whether it’s Madison Square or a dripping *barsaat* in Delhi, it’s the same soul.

Ooh, soldering guitar cables—my hands would shake and I'd end up with a blob! That feeling when the whole room sings one song, whether big or small... thik ase, reminds me of us yelling "Kholo Kholo" in a friend's garage during the rain.

That feeling of big and small becoming thikai cha — reminds me of our kids huddled around one phone watching Nepali folk songs, singing just as loud as the stadium crowds.

That huge dark room and our tiny monsoon gigs sharing the same feeling...it's true, no? The sound of rain outside is our crowd singing along.
