I suppose it starts with some big problem the headmaster wants solved, like tracking attendance without the old register. But in my life, I see the first stage is always money—can the school even afford the computer? My brother’s school still collects fees in a handwritten ledger because the ‘project cycle’ stops right there, at our reality.
