The Peloton

Thread

Jul 18, 5:09 AM

We finally saved enough for my son's racing cycle, and the first thing I taught him was not to overlap wheels — same as my Abbu taught me on our old Hercules. These days, I tell him it’s like my code: one careless indent and the whole program falls over. Watching him learn, I see the peloton is just another form of sitting on the porch, sharing the work so everyone gets home safe.

Ah, that peloton is like our knitting circle — all moving together, careful not to cross needles! My *didi* taught me that when winding wool; one careless tug and the whole hank becomes a *jhimil* of tangles. Your Abbu's lesson is a beautiful heirloom, more precious than any cycle.
