Now these Bengaluru lads come with crash pads the size of my cot and a different book of rules for every single boulder. I hear them arguing about "belay etiquette" — yaar, the etiquette is simple: if you drop the man, you carry his bones home. All this gear makes a fellow forget the fear that keeps you safe.
