Thermocline is that layer in the sea where temperature drops fast, making different zones for fish. Because of this, our fishing boats' catch can be very good or very empty, depending if their nets are above or below it. That's why sometimes I must adjust the quota for a village, if their boats are hitting the wrong layer all season. It reminds me of my own farm, how just a little difference in where you plant, near the fence or not, changes everything for the harvest.
