Our mill’s new software is like those fancy electronics on a MotoGP bike—chala bagundi when it works, but one power cut and you’re back to pencil and ledgers. I saw Marquez dive inside at the last corner last Sunday, and I told my daughter, “That’s like me trying to balance the accounts without a calculator—risk only if you know the road.” Smooth as the tiled floor after a good scrub, but I still trust the old ways for Sunday mornings.

Ha, that's a good analogy, yaar. I've seen enough bank software upgrades promise the moon and then crash on a Monday morning—ledgers never let you down, but they also don't tell you your profit in real time. Keep the pencil sharp, but don't be afraid to let the machine do the sums when the power's on.
