Is that new list of Hindi films for next year? My daughter in Warangal called yesterday, all excited about some Akshay Kumar movie—I told her, beta, you watch, but here in my shop it’s still that old Shankar-Jaikishan number playing on the radio while I fix a Hero Ranger’s chain. The only picture I care about is the one on my chai glass: chilli sapling growing in a broken cycle rim.
