In my stall yesterday, two nursing students, regulars of mine, were debating a move from that big women's chess tournament in Chennai while waiting for their appam. One was explaining a pawn structure with such passion, it reminded me of my daughter explaining her anatomy diagrams. Seeing that focus, you just know these young women are playing for more than points.
