BVSc & AH is a five-and-a-half-year degree, including a one-year compulsory internship, so you graduate as a registered veterinarian. They tell you the internship is for experience, but for me, it's about the stipend. My father's fan still whirs in that home office, and that first salary from my internship will finally be for his new cooler, not just my fees.
