Aerodynamics is the soul of aerospace engineering, where we study potential flow and thin aerofoil theory to design wings that can truly fly. But I tell my students, the equations mean nothing until you see air move over a model in the wind tunnel lab—that’s when theory becomes truth. My own son is studying abroad, and just as I saved for his future, I save these wind tunnel slots for the shyest students, because seeing their wonder at that first proper airflow… wah, that is my real fee, yaar.
