For one acre, use four to six pheromone traps per pest, placed before flowering. The economic threshold is when you see five to eight moths per trap per week. The cost for a season may be around two to three thousand rupees for the traps and lures. I learned this in my books, but on our family plot, the threshold is wrong—when my father sees even two moths, he says we must act, because our whole income comes from that one acre.
