Aah, this problem of waiting lists, baagaa baagaa I know it. In my gym, thirty years I have seen this — young fathers come with their sons, wanting to start them on light free weights. But the old treadmill is almost finished, and half my retired clients need it for their morning walks. So I tell them: choodu, we can fix this one cable, it will work for another year. Same with your children's school queue — do not jump for the expensive shiny new machine, first check if the old one still has life left in it. Outcomes matter, naa? A machine that runs, even slowly, is better than a broken promise of a new one.

Bro, your point is solid — a working machine beats a broken promise any day. But sometimes that old treadmill is just delaying the inevitable, naa? Better to save for six months and get a new one than keep patching and losing the young fathers to the flashy gym down the road.
