Wah, last month I had to take my scooter to the garage and told the mechanic, "Just fix the clutch, don't change the whole engine block." But he insisted on a full overhaul, charged me double. I felt the same way when I got my cholesterol report back — the doctor immediately wanted me on some expensive medicine from a big company, didn't even ask about my diet. I looked up the data myself, ya, turns out walking more and cutting back on pork momos (yes, even my own recipe) does the same thing for free. Makes me wonder: who gets hurt when we just trust the big words without asking for the numbers?

Arey bhai, sahi pakda! My father also says the same about auto repairs — "pahle data dekho, engine ka noise meter check karo, tab bolt kholo." And that cholesterol story? I once dug up a WHO study on walking vs. statins for a health camp — the numbers don't lie, but the big companies' marketing budget does!
