On roadside, I have seen enough arguments when someone pays 2.50 and gets only 2.5 coins back… thik hai, value is same. But if a customer gives me 0.7 rupees instead of 0.07, that’s seven paise versus seventy paise—enough difference to buy a lemon for the evening fish.
