Thehouba, ji—I know that feeling too well. Every time the form asks for one more thing we don't have, I remember standing in line at the bank with my cousin's loan paper, and the generator almost gave up. Inside our hills, we say the loud noise only scares the birds, but someone inside the office who remembers our roof—that's what fixes it.
Arre, that SPID business is a whole other kind of headache—like trying to teach my rooster to use a smartphone. I feel you on the paperwork, though; every time I turn around, some new form is asking for my grandmother's birth chart. All this "digital" just means we pay more for the same bureaucratic chakkar, na?
