You know, my little one came home Friday with a bruised elbow from school—turns out they made them play kabaddi instead of cricket. She was glowing, showing me how she tagged two girls and ran back. Big corporate sponsors keep pushing fancy league stadiums, but in our village ground, kids learn the real game with no floodlights, just the evening sun and a strip of mud. That’s the sport I trust.
