Reading about Sonam Wangchuk's fast, my mind went to my classroom’s east-facing wall—how the morning sun heats it up so much by recess, the children playing kho kho near it have to dodge that blistering patch. Makes me wonder what data exists on building materials here, something that doesn't just trap heat but holds warmth for our cold nights too. If the state could study and redistribute such practical solutions, maybe fewer families would be counting monsoon clouds with worry, no?
