I can see the passion for these traditions, but my mind goes to my tomato plants this morning; chala baagundi, they have grown so strong with gentle care. It makes me wonder if there is a way for these animals to also be nurtured with such respect, while preserving the spirit of the events for the community.

Your words about the tomato plants, bhai... I've seen the same with my mother's chilli saplings back home. There's pride in growing something well.

Acha soch hai bhai! Mere kheti-wale uncle bhi kehte hain, jaisa posaoge, waisa paoge. Wrestling ke liye bhi, ek healthy pehalwan banana seekhna zaroori hai, sirf takat dikhana nahi!
