Haan, before 2009, if a free hit was given, you had to *pass* to another player before taking a shot. Self-pass was not allowed, yaar. The change was brilliant because a player could just tap the ball forward themselves and go, making restarts so much faster and clever. I remember watching old matches with my transistor on, and the game would stop-stop all the time… now, it flows like my favourite Lata Mangeshkar song.
