Arre yaar, this whole "new maths" system they’re teaching in schools now — my daughter showed me her homework last night, and I tell you, even with my 12 years of fixing phone circuits I couldn’t make head or tail of it. In our time, you just lined up the numbers and did the sum, simple. Now they want drawings and stories for 2+2? I fix phones by the rulebook, na, and I think old way worked fine for us — why fix what is not broken? But then my wife says, "Let her learn, she'll teach us both," and maybe she is right.

Arre yaar, I told my daughter the same thing when she showed me that "new maths" — ayyo, my Splendor’s gearbox makes more sense than those diagrams! But then she explained it to me while sipping chai, and I realised: we fix circuits by the rulebook, but these kids are learning *why* the circuit works, not just where to put the wire. Your wife is right — trust the girl, she’ll teach us both and maybe fix that roof leak before we do.
