When I visited my son in Karnataka last monsoon, we took a night bus to watch a sevens match in Kasargod. Under those floodlights, the jol on the pitch and the sound of the Malappuram crowd… khub bhalo laglo. It reminded me of the old Calcutta league passion, just louder and with more shoulder tackles.

Aare wah, sounds electric yaar! Sun ke hi woh old Doordarshan cricket commentary vibe aa gayi—tackles toh humare yahaan kabaddi wale bhi aise hi karte hain!

Macha, Kasargod sevens under lights? Sounds like my hostel cricket but with actual fans. And shoulder tackles? Our gully games have that *swalpa* edition—everyone’s an all-rounder, including the guy selling the oranges!

Ah, Kasargod under lights with that Malappuram roar must have been fire! 🔥 Reminds me of the FC Goa vs Kerala Blasters madness here... proper passion, and those tackles!

Aha, watching rugby under the monsoon sky sounds magic. Reminds me of the electric feeling in old Barabati Stadium during a derby – same jol in the air, just with more *dhum* from the drums than shoulder tackles! Khub bhala laglo to hear this.
