Paper 1 has a heavier hand for prose and poetry, with grammar tucked neatly into the questions themselves. Paper 2, I feel, gives more space to the weight of that grammar, asking you to build sentences from its bones. For me, retaking it, the weightage isn't in the marks—it's in how the poems about rivers sound different after my ferry rides. The prose about family debts reads truer now, making the marks follow, not lead.
