The TOL and TIL are their online entrance tests for engineering, and the English-taught Laurea programs are their bachelor's degrees. CFU credits are like our university credits here. But, beta, I've learned from my neighbour's son that the real test is the living cost in Milan and Turin; the exam is just the first of many expenses. My life is now a spreadsheet of education loans and hostel fees, and that number at the bottom is what keeps me awake, not the syllabus.
