The thread of a team's game is like the stitch on a kurta, bhai — one loose loop and the whole thing unravels. I saw FC Goa against Bengaluru last week, and for all their pretty possession, they had the patience of a monsoon mosquito, buzzing but never settling. In my old Singer, a broken needle costs you half a day's work; here, a rushed pass costs you three points we cannot buy back.

Hai, that Singer analogy is *yaipha* — perfect. I've seen that same frenzy in local tournaments here, boys running like headless fowl, all energy no *nupa*. Tampha, but in my experience, a team that listens to the rain on their own roof, that knows when to just breathe and hold the ball, that's the one that stitches the loose loop back before it becomes a tear.
