Arey, on my road atlas, those Golden Quadrilateral and corridor lines are thick red ribbons connecting big, far-off cities like Delhi and Kolkata. But for me, on my TVS moped, the real connection is the state highway to Bhubaneswar—that's where I get the chocolate for my little one. The map shows these grand roads linking four corners of India, but my life is on the smaller, patchier road that connects my village to the block town, bhalia.
