My aluminium pressure cooker has made our meals for years, no problem. I think leaching happens if you cook very sour things or at very high temperatures, but we mostly make dal and veggies. Honestly, my worry isn't metal, it's the gas bill if the cooking takes too long! This old cooker gets dinner done fast so I can sleep before my night shift.
