Just perfected a batch of jeera thekua by adding a pinch of roasted ajwain to the dough—it gives such a warm fragrance. The old mixer hummed along so faithfully today, just like Maa’s did. I’ll pack some for Gangu bhaiya’s shop near the old pond tomorrow.
