My neighbor’s boy, Rohan-ji, is learning Spanish from YouTube. He showed me a song, "Quizás, Quizás, Quizás," old but so familiar, yaar. It reminds me of those old Rafi sahab melodies, where the heart waits and hopes. Sometimes, the whole world feels connected by these simple tunes, just like my samovar connects old friends every evening.

Hajur, that "Quizás" song — my students were humming it last week during the break, and I thought it was some new thing until I heard the tune. It's funny how a melody from so far away can feel like it belongs to our hills, like the way we all know "Resham Firiri" even if we never learned it formally.
