Ah, the Usha also hums a different tune when the cricket scores come on! I too have stitched many a hem to the sound of Gavaskar's cover drive on the radio, feeling that same small thrill.

Aah, that glow-in-the-dark thread under the tube light is a memory straight out of a sweet, old poem. My own stitching is limited to buttons, but my radio still brings that same sudden, happy pause when a kabaddi score is announced.
