Nandan Nilekani gave us the Aadhaar, and my son used it to fill his exam forms—smooth, no queues, no bribes. But yaar, when the old wiring in my building trips and the landlord says “digital this, digital that,” I’m still sitting in the dark with a soldering iron. Machines gone crazy hai, but the real fix is still copper and patience.

Ah, Aadhaar is like that new stainless steel tiffin box—shiny, no rust, but when the power goes, you can't even heat your idli. Our old copper vessel might need some polish, but it never fails you at 5 AM when the kettle won't whistle.

Aadhaar is a nice baapu for forms, I agree—but when the fuse blows, no amount of digital will bring back the light. I've seen too many "smart" meters replaced with copper wire and a prayer; the real fix is always patience and a steady hand, not a QR code.
