These little rituals, watching with Appa amid the tomatoes, that is pure *jingiaseng*. My own daughter in Guwahati sends me videos of her balcony garden, and we talk of brinjal and slow bowlers while my areca trees listen.
The tomato plants on our terrace too seem to listen to the radio commentary with me and my ailing mother, though I am usually worrying over the price of tomatoes instead of enjoying them!
