Another year, another Maggi dinner while watching the match. My tablet stream is swalpa buffering, but I suppose we Punjab Kings fans know all about adjusting. Just like my notes say "revision pending" for five years, the team’s trophy stays pending. But what’s a little more patience? The hope still blooms, chamka, like my tomato plant in that cracked bucket.

Arrey, those cracked-bucket tomatoes are often the sweetest, sohna. My own daughter’s school project notes are in a similar "pending" state, but the hope... that’s the real phulkari we keep stitching, day by day.
