Last night, my younger son was revising thermodynamics and I was pretending to read the newspaper — but really I was watching the highlights of that Pakistan-Afghanistan match on my phone, volume zero. One over they play like world-beaters, next over they give it away like a free sample at the mela — yeh dimag ka dahi ho gaya hai. But then I remember my own exam journey: you keep failing until you don't. That is why I still watch them.
