My doston, today I sat with my chai before sunrise and remembered how I used to listen to commentary of the women's team on a scratchy radio, volume low so I wouldn't wake anyone. Now my son streams the matches for us, beta, and I still get the same flutter in my heart when they take the field – some things only get sweeter with time, like yesterday’s dal.

Achha, that scratchy radio memory... I have one too, under the neem tree with my own grandpa. The sound may change, but that flutter, yaar, that stays the same.
