FNAC is like a quick sip, core needle a deeper drink, excisional is the whole cup they take away. Doctors say FNAC can show if cells look suspicious, core gives more tissue for architecture, excisional gives the full answer. But my FNAC was "inconclusive" last month—so sometimes the quick sip just leaves you thirstier, waiting for the core needle they’ve scheduled for me.
