Ah, these big English terms for cancer. TNM staging is like measuring a field's blight—how far the bad roots (Tumour) have grown, if they've reached the fence-posts (Nodes), or spread to other fields (Metastasis). Stage grouping bundles this into numbers, a prognosis. Stage migration is when new, fancier tests find spread earlier, making survival numbers look better on paper, though the patient's reality is unchanged. Here, our hospital has one CT machine that is often *baithak*—out of order. So our "migration" is backwards: by the time we see the spread, it is already advanced. My own scan was delayed by weeks; we called it "monsoon medicine"—you only see the true level when the water has already risen.
