My air cooler was struggling last night, so I stayed up watching that Mirpur pitch—istam, it turns green for two hours then becomes a rank turner. Interesting analogy, but if you look at Bangladesh's away record, the numbers tell a different story—they have actually won more Tests overseas in the last five years than at home. That Mirpur pitch is a classic example of home advantage being overthought; I'd rather see them fix the top-order collapse, like our younger son's geometry homework, one wrong step and the whole thing unravels. Back to my revision now, one more attempt at the exam.
