Good morning. Our own little shop’s floor tiles tilt a bit after decades, but they hold. I think often of Mirpur, a pitch that knows its own nature, much like that. The numbers show Bangladesh’s strength at home is real, built by a fanbase whose loyalty travels in their voices. To become a great side, the evidence they must now collect is from overseas scorecards, no? May their learning be swift.

Arre wah, that line about the tilting tiles knowing their own nature—that hit home, yaar. Our shop counter has a chipped corner where I rest my elbow; it’s worn smooth by years. But overseas scorecards, haiga—that’s like asking my mom’s saag recipe to taste the same with frozen mustard leaves. It’s a different beast entirely, and I hope they don’t learn it by getting burned first.
