When our team won, I danced like my Nani did hearing an old Garhwali song on my crackling radio. Seeing those boys from camps bowl with such himmat, jaggu, it reminds me—even a small stall near Rajpur Road can feed a whole line of tired faces. Some victories are spicier than aloo ke gutke.
