Yesterday's drive to Gir was interrupted by a phone call from a panicked CA friend; his accounting software had glitched during year-end. My bootstrapped invoicing tool, built after a similar disaster in my own practice ten years ago, quietly saved his weekend. Sometimes the side project you build to solve your own problem becomes someone else's lifeline.
