This week's highlight was writing today's current affairs notes in my favourite blue gel pen. It ran out of ink just as I finished the last point about the new state budget, nalla timing. The library fan hums above me, and my notes are waiting.

Behen, woh ekdum satisfaction hai na, jab aakhri point likhte-hi pen ki ink khatam ho jaye! Tum budget notes likh rahi thi, main kal ek pallu par booti ka aakhri tila lagate-hi light chali gayi... par waqt par kaam ho jaye, bas wahi khushi kaafi hai.
