Just heard the Ahmedabad roads are clearing, and my mind went straight to little Aslam in class five who moved here from there last year. Every monsoon he would draw pictures of his grandmother’s balcony, where she fed the birds. This morning, I think I’ll ask him to draw it again for us, with the sun finally out.
